Michael Franti

I have loved his music for over 10 years and believe in his message.

I feel uber lucky to be teaching a yoga practice featuring the brilliant Michael Franti at the upcoming LaureLive on Sunday, June 11 at 11 am!

For me this is a dream come true!

I have loved his music for over 10 years and believe in his message. Almost every playlist for every class I have taught (now close to 7000 classes - whoa) includes at least one song from Franti! His lyrics lift me up and the vibe of his sound is heart opening!

Here is a favorite playlist:

Old School Tunes

I’ve had some issues with my iTunes that I can’t seem to  figure out, so I have resorted lately to some old school favs!

Bringing back Bones Thugs-n-Harmony, Wind Blow and my forever most-fav-ever, I’m Alive by Michael Franti & Spearhead. Michael Franti will be in town this June for LaurelLive! I’m doing backflips in my dreams because I have the honor of teaching alongside Marni Task and Tami Schneider with Michael at LaurelLive!

Tony Robbins: “The Magic of Visualization” on YouTube

While this isn’t music exactly, it is like music in that Tony’s words inspire flow in your life if you listen closely.

While this isn’t music exactly, it is like music in that Tony’s words inspire flow in your life if you listen closely.

I love his messages and how brilliantly simple his teachings are delivered. I have been working a great deal with the ritual of visualizing in my own life and daily practice. The power of seeing, with certainty, that which you aim to manifest is undeniable.

I believe in the effectiveness of visualizing so strongly I have been incorporating it into my classes. Come practice and take a listen to “The Magic of Visualization”!
